The Categories section will provide a series of POIs (points-of-interest) divided by type. These POIs, unlike the Nearby Places Suggestions, don’t depend on an internet connection to be accessible and are a great way to quickly find things like nearby Medical Services, Parking, Gas Stations and much more.
You can even further narrow your search, for example, if you are specifically looking for a Gas Station that also has an EV charging outpost, just select Gas Station > press > and then press on the subcategory EV Charging Station. All categories have very helpful subcategories, so make sure to explore them.
