Navigating without a Destination?

The Dashboard mode is a helpful assistance for your daily commute: you don't need to calculate a route, but you can receive helpful alerts while driving. Since you know exactly where you're going, chances are you're not interested in the voice instructions, but you can use this mode to be alerted of legal speed limits and also radars and speed controlled zones. To activate it, just tap on the Dashboard button  on the Map screen and get on with your driving. If you have a data connection, you can also activate the traffic layer on the map and see what roads to avoid.
